Are you 18 or over? Yes
Canon: Supernatural
Character: Meg
Timeline: I am taking Meg from the moment in episode 10 of season 5, “Abandon All Hope” when Castiel throws her down on to the ring of holy fire and uses her to cross out of the circle and escape.
Personality: Meg is quick witted, snarky, sarcastic, and blunt. She is self-righteous, condescending, calculating and appears to be completely sure of herself at all times. She's certainly self-aware and most definitely embraces all of her tendencies; since demons are a completely self indulgent race, she has no reason for guilt or shame, and the ends always justify the means.
Meg is motivated purely by self preservation. She is very patient and will "lay low" for long periods of time in an effort to fly under the radar of anyone who might want her dead. She is clever and cunning, and nearly always informed - if you ask her, anyway. She just knows things. She uses her considerable stealth to her advantage constantly, generally knowing when to stay out of things and recognizing the opportune moment for her to take action. She remains calm and collected the vast majority of the time, and can crack a joke even when she is clearly inwardly terrified. Even if she's getting her ass kicked, she's still spitting clever insults at her adversary.
She enunciates very deliberately and chooses her words carefully to inflict as much damage and/or cause as much conflict as possible, often speaking in a singsong tone - mocking whomever or whatever is her current source of entertainment. She's always got a relevant historical/literary/pop culture reference up her sleeve, especially when it comes to making up nicknames on the fly.
Meg's actual age including her human life, time spent in hell, and time as a demon is unknown, but it is implied that she is very old. Two of her defining characteristics are conflicting in nature - she is outwardly impatient and easily annoyed with others, but her relative immortality gives her a much different scale and perspective of time. She has a sinister kind of patience that develops alongside such dogged determination coupled with her potentially infinite lifespan.
For decades prior to her canon point, she was working alongside Azazel and subsequently apprenticed under Alastair, hell's master of torture. The cause she served was to bring about Lucifer's release from the cage and the subsequent apocalypse. She was a major antagonist in seasons one through five, single-handedly being responsible for a great deal of tragedy in the Winchesters' lives.
Meg at her worst is extremely vicious and sadistic, truly talented in torture, and an artist when it comes to getting under the skin of her victims, literally and figuratively. The enjoyment she gets out of messing with people is palpable, and she certainly learned from the best. In hell, it's constant torture until you are broken and corrupted enough to get off the rack and begin torturing other souls. This happened a long time ago for Meg, and it shows. The finesse with which she takes action without hesitation or regret shows a complete disconnect with any code of ethics outside loyalty to her cause.
She is at her most sinister right before the apocalypse, pulling out all the stops to ensure Lucifer's victory with the enthusiasm of any crazed religious zealot fighting for their spiritual cause. She's elated that her Father walks the Earth, and she's relentlessly optimistic about the outcome of all their plans to a fault.
Meg's biggest flaw is her ego. She demonstrates repeatedly that she will relentlessly pursue her chosen cause well beyond the extent of her own capabilities. That alone speaks to her loyalty - but perhaps even more so to her sense of pride, since survival is always her utmost priority. She's cunning and evasive and manipulative, and while she's a masterful escape artist and difficult to pin down when she doesn't want to be, her greatest failings seem to come when she is at her most confident.
Background: Wiki
Abilities/Additional Notes:
Like all demons in the Supernatural universe, she has the powers of telekinesis and possession of others, as well as being much stronger than a human. Meg is depicted as being a relatively powerful demon, who is particularly gifted in manipulation, evasion, and survival. She can teleport, and canon has shown in several instances that you won’t know she’s there unless she wants you to, which is awfully helpful in her penchant for spying. She is immune to injury and death aside from that by a select number of supernatural weapons, including the Colt, Ruby's knife, and any angel's blade as well as a few spells that have been demonstrated in canon to kill demons. Last but by no means least, Meg has an exceptional lexicon of pop culture knowledge that she puts to use whenever possible.
First-Person Sample:
Goddamn angels...
[The feed flips on and the girl in the video looks disheveled as hell. Her leather jacket is scorched and her silk blouse is half burned off, exposing the pale, flat expanse of a midriff marred with second and third-degree burns. Strangely, she's up and about, using the video function of the device as a mirror of sorts, all the while muttering further blasphemous obscenities.]
--pansy ass good-for-nothing douchebag--
[As she pans up and down, it's clear from the background that she's in some kind of abandoned building. The rest of her is relatively unscathed minus a few smears of soot and ash. She wipes a black smudge from her nose and wrinkles it, clearly less than thrilled with her appearance. After a moment, she shakes her hair out, throws her shoulders back, and nods matter-of-factly to herself.
Meg's face disappears and the view spins down to the stained concrete floor, and it's clear that she's on the move. A door slams open violently, echoing through the space. Dark skinny jeans and gray heels are visible as Meg strides out onto glistening wet pavement, and another string of curses is half-way audible before she finally mutters something remotely decipherable.]
Very funny, Clarence. The hell did you zap me to, anyway? Guess you had some juice left after all, huh?
Third-Person Sample:
Meg wandered the city, and even she was a little creeped out by how quiet it seemed. One thing was certain - though this certainly could be the handiwork of her Father, she wasn't in Carthage anymore. It didn't even feel like she was on Earth anymore.
She slipped in and out of alleyways, keeping mostly to the shadows and avoiding passers-by, mostly because she could. When she stopped to take a swig of whiskey out of her flask and light a cigarette, this nasty looking fluffy thing kept rubbing up against her legs. She was about to kick it across the alley when it looked up at her, and she couldn't help pausing to smile back at the huge black eyes and fucked up sharp little teeth. The thing was kinda cute, so she just nudged it away instead.
"Scram, fluffy."
The demented looking kitten stumbled away a few steps, but mistook the nudge of Meg's foot for affection, and came back rubbing against her with even more enthusiasm than before. She rolled her eyes and started walking again, figuring she better find a place to lay low, wherever the hell she was. She pretended not to notice that the thing was following close at her heels.
